This takes the definition of "balance" to a whole new level. It's hard enough to believe that one person can do this, but two people coordinating such amazing balance is insane.

@Russ Hawkins Actually, it takes both balance and stability, because they aren't always in motion. You should go after the person who named the "balance beam", or coined the term "balancing tires", when it only matters when the wheels are in motion. At least now I know that I'm not the most pedantic person on the internet, haha!

I am deeply impressed. This is by far the most gracious and artistic performance I have seen in my life. Forget about ice dancing, flatland bmx, nitro circus or cirque de soleil. This is *it.* Hard to imagine, how much hard training these two beautiful young ladies put into this. I can't find the proper words to express my admiration for them, as athletes, as artists, as sports idols and also as beautiful ladies. Edit: Why isn't this an Olympic sport?

To answer a two-year-old possibly-rhetorical question, the reason this isn't in the olympics is that it isn't widespread enough. To be an olympic event, the sport needs competitors in lots of countries (75 for men, 40 for women) across three continents. This sport is niche, with fewer than 10 countries producing competitors and they are all European. So it has a long way to go before it would reach olympic levels. It's still amazing to watch, though!

Aluminum cranks wash out and have to be replaced or non-stop tightened up. Cost me 3 before i realized it wasn't just maintanance.

I didn't know this was even a thing but I'm super impressed. As someone who grew up riding BMX several hours a day for almost a decade I can't even fathom how this is possible. I thought I was cool being able to do a 360 or backflip but this is a whole level beyond anything I've seen.

That's pretty good! Something to be proud of! This is something I don't fully comprehend; I think the fact that Tony Hawk spent 10 years trying to land a 900, that I suspect he was never quite sure he would ever be able to, sums this up pretty well! Hope you still ride your bike sometimes, just like Tony still rides his skateboard! 😀

@@Spitts Thanks for the reply! Just riding the bike is something! If you go to a skate park or bmx track you'll fit right in, and you'll definitely be inspired; I found someone on Instagram from California recently with a collection of vintage BMX bikes (so beautiful!) he takes out to vintage get togethers .. looks like so much fun .. if you Google it you never know what you might find! Happy riding, and you never know; you might even learn some new tricks; never say never! 😃
