Just bought an Ibanez ATK300 (built in the Fujigen factory 1997), like the one Gregor is playing in this video. Freaking love it! I was after a newer Sterling BMM Stingray, but I'm happy I found the ATK instead. Super versatile, even though it only has one pickup, and it packs such a punch!

***** Nope, my fretless Sunn Mustang P-Bass was way cheaper ;) But the price doesn't really matter, all I care for is sound quality and this is not related to the price of the instrument at all.

I just love the ATKs. I've got a 305 fivestring. This is the closest you will ever get to a decent MM Stingray sound without having to buy a Stingray...

There's no secret to this tone. We played this bass through the pedal directly into an audio interface.

Daniel Blanco I have an Ibanez ATK too (mine is an ATK200), and it has a very similar tone! :) So yep, it's the bass. And also the hand. It depends on how you play it ;)

Really liked the sound of these basses. There was a 5 string version too. Ibanez stopped making these (made in Indonesia I think) and has new ones that are much more expensive.
