@@juantonyNah, this was recent. It was during the original Injustice story. He kept it in top of his fridge or something for emergencies. The blast radius wasn't miles though, just a lot stronger than a normal arrow.

Fun fact: Green Arrow has used guns, but he stated they bore him and provide no challenge. Bows are much harder to use and require a ton of skill. So Oliver, being the absolute giga chad, chooses to handicap himself to give criminals a chance

Arrows have a few advantages over guns. For one thing, they are silent. They also hit harder (more momentum). And the projectiles can often be re-used.

This was a very important episode, because it showed Superman that even though Batman's kind of obnoxious, and they spend most of their time arguing, they have over time become best friends, and it took replacing him with a similar guy for Superman to realize that.

To be fair, Catman is a hero of the Golden Age which is now in public domain. He WAS a detective (that was actually his secret identity) but he wasn't rich.

Before anybody asks you this question, here's a simple but effective way to describe Catman: Imagine if Batman and Kraven the Hunter from Marvel (yes, I know Catman predates Kraven, that's not the point) became one person. He does have angst, but that's not because he's avenging his parents. His dad was an abusive alcoholic and a wealthy big game hunter who "accidently" killed Catman's mom. Side note, his only power is that he literally has nine lives. Only reason he has them is because he stole his cape from a death cult and it gives him powers.

If you’re a crime stopping super hero who regularly works with police,why the hell would you make your secret identity a detective? I get that you get access to the information you would otherwise not have but,aside from the villains,the police are your main point of contact and communication as a hero. They are the one group who you don’t want to regularly hear your normal voice or see you normally. Furthermore,would they not notice how he’s never around whenever Catman appears? “Oh,I want to call our expert detective. He’s not here? DAMN IT! Oh,hey Catman”

@@llSuperSnivyll I mean, the guy went from being one of Batman's most pitiful joke villains (and also reimagined as a gag hero in Fairly Oddparents) into becoming one of Batman's more "serious" arches who can almost fight Batman to a stand-still in CQC (and beat Bronze Tiger to a draw), an expert tracker who can almost empathize with nearly every animal he meets, have a petty rivalry/friendship with Deadshot (I know Deadshot's kind of a dick, but the respect he has for Catman is astonishing considering how much he likes to "shoot people in the back" in literally every sense of the term), and he's dated both huntress and Cheshire (him and Cheshire have a kid by the way). TL;DR: He's literally a costumed "non-powered" Batman villain. I'd be more surprised if he *didn't* have any plot armor to speak of.

There's a comic where the way he beats a bunch of gangsters is by putting on an advertisement video regarding one of the Bruce Foundations Adult Education programs, with guaranteed employment, and included full health coverage and insurance

I mean...Supes whinging is funny but the fact of the matter is so much canon they do other stuff with their money to help the common person. Ignoring the fact a lot of "Wall Street bros" and "trust fund babies" often canonically use their wealth to help folks in other ways, they invest their money in tech and gadgets to bring down criminals. Not to mention virtually every crook they fight isn't some poor fella trying to steal to feed his family. No, they are often hardened criminals working for a bigger psychopath who either has dangerous super powers, dangerous weapons or tech, or a mass network of resources, etc.

The in-universe explanation for that is, everyone is super-corrupt. I mean, even in real life, most major charities are scams, especially the Susan B Komen Foundation. And I think Batman does at least _attempt_ to help people using his money; it just doesn't go so well.

Every once in a while though, Tasky has enough experience dealing with Wade's bullshit that he can just temporarily cripple him/knock him out. Going back to your side of the argument though, I'm *still* talking out of my ass. Mostly because *every single character* in the Marvel Universe has experience dealing with Deadpool's bullshit. At green arrow’s worst, he’s a narcissist who’s only benefit are his trick arrows which can easily be outperformed by batarang’s or cyborg’s gadgets or some shit. At his best version, Green Arrow is a master survivalist who can shoot a bow and arrow better than an expert marksman can use a rifle. His trick arrows have so many different varieties with many functions each that he can operate independently of Batman or any other techie superhero. His time fighting for his life in the jungle on an island has honed his body and mind to be strong and incredibly perceptive, as well as stealthy. Also, he’s just as effective with guns if the need ever arises!

@@Game_Hero Yes, but that’s a different character from DC’s Catman. An despite the similar color scheme and visual design. The DC Catman was a super-villain who turned into an anti-hero, joining a team of super villains turned mercenaries work called The Secret Six. While I like the Cat Man Pilot, it’s more of a parody of old comics and cartoons while the DC character is significantly different.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't it in the Justice League cartoon that it was the opposite that Green Arrow didn't want to join the Justice League because he wanted to help "the little guy" (the people who'd get overlooked by the Justice League) and that they actively wanted him to join.

3:07. honestly, using a bow and arrow actually takes more skill then using a gun. also didn't i mention the fact using a bow & arrow is like a gun but with silencer on it, you can also use the arrows from using poison, maybe an explosive to even a kryptonite arrow! ALSO IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH TIME AND RECOURSES, YOU COULD POTENTIALLY MAKE A GRAPPLING HOOK OUT OF YOUR BOW! 🤷‍♂️

You might like to know that Catman was originally a superhero who had a young female sidekick named Kitten. After he fell into the public domain, DC snapped him up and turned him into a villain who primarily fought Batman. The original Catman was recently part of a team called Superpowers, which is made up of public domain characters.

What I always find funny about Green Arrow is how his arrows can latch onto things like Batman’s grappling hook. Like the grappling hook embedding in concrete deep enough for a 230lb man to swing from it is already a lot of suspension of disbelief, but a lot of the time it actually ya know, grapples things, like coils or hooks around them, but you’re telling me this guy’s bow shoots an arrow with enough force into the side of a building to use as a zip line? I think not.

Fun fact, cat man is an actual super villain. Not so fun fact, the whole reason Carman took up that identity is because he wanted to be a villain, and believed he could be better than Catwoman simply because he’s a man (I’m not joking look into his story from his earlier appearances)

Bruh “I got bored” is literally the motivation for the OG Mr. Terrific. He was a super rich athletic and intelligent guy who accomplished all these great things so he said fuck it and became a superhero.
