In defense of these guys, Kaiba Corp was canonically a highly profitable weapons manufacturer before it was a card game company, so they probably got a bit confused when they heard that they were hosting a battle tournament

Honestly, Kaïba's first reaction when that guy asked about the nuclear weapons is exactly how I would have reacted in his place. And the pilot's reaction was exactly how I would have had to react if my best friend was in Kaïba's place (because he would have totally reacted the same).

As someone from New Jersey, I can attest that this is true. This is why we're not allowed to have tournaments anymore. You take ONE sports team hostage and suddenly it's considered "morally reprehensible."

I like the fact that when the guy mentions nuclear weapons, Kaiba stops to think if it would be great to see if that happens, but when they really go nuclear, he is terrified as hell, I think that happens to many of us

That cut to inside the airship when they asked about the nukes was the most hilarious thing ever. This has to be my most favorite abridged Kaiba video ever. The background sound effects were on point too.

That plot twist got me but then realized how much that makes sense. Despite all the spirits, monsters and Egyptian hoopla, Domino City is at least relatively safe. Wherever it is.

As someone who once had the misfortune to visit Newark, New Jersey thanks to a connecting flight, I can assure you that this was my exact experience, except that I was significantly poorer than Kaiba. Still am, too, but at least I'm not in Jersey.
