for the 3rd edge flange where you make the lip that the door is going to latch onto, how did you decide the appropriate length of it? in your opinion, is there supposed to be a Hem at the end of the Sheet metal to avoid cuts when handling? Thanks in Advance! :)

13:09 The back mount holes should be extruded outside, not inside. It makes a gap and help to install panel with roughness on the wall.

That is not correct. Most code would require mounting to a backboard or other flat surface.

Hi, I had issues adding the louvres for some reason. I am totally new to solidworks; I really need to make a similar cabinet design. When I added the louvres, the size was extremely tiny, unable to position them and they would not be displayed. A red X would display beside the louvre component - I will recreate and provide the error here

Dane Sebastian if you want custom louver, you can create a custom louver tool and add into forming tools library than only you can use your size of louver,

Great tutorial but you left out --> in order to be able to use the forming tools in Design Library --> select the forming tool folder --> RMC --> check Forming Tool Folder otherwise it will be treated as part file and when you drag it on sheet metal part surface it will be adding another part to part file. Thanks for sharing.

Hi brother, I'm following your channel to learn solid works. When I inserted louvers from library into model, it appear box: "Plz use dimensioning and sketch modify tool to place the form feature. Note that sketch moves as a whole when dimensions or other actions are applied to it". And I cannot make flip tool, rotate angle or positioning for this louver. I don't find anywhere so that allow me to do modify feature. Could you reply this issue? Thanks in advanced. P/S: I'm using Solid works 2010

Really thank for this tutorial .but basically my baground in electrical but I like degining .I want to learn but which course will be benifit for me..if it you make electrical related video it will be better for me. Currently I am working in electrical field but I have m ore interested in dgine line .after learning some knowledge I will be set up panel manufacturers unit. So it will be better.
