Solidworks simulation convergence checking 1

Mesh refinement is carried out using 5 consecutive studies. The results are compared and shown with graphs of peak stress versus DOF.
For this exercise very crude mesh refinement methods are used - very big models are produced. The next video shows a more efficient process.

thanks for this vids... i just find your videos... but this kind of videos are really helpful and important for young engineers. There are so many engineers just take the results for absolute truth... which can be dangerous...

Where to see that graph, how to see the results of 5 different mesh type and 5 different studies in one graph, please explain that part.

you use excel to plot VM Stress VS DOF, for each mesh you get the info from the results of the study in solidworks

I use the callouts to make it clear where we are. Trying to follow the mouse can be very difficult if panning zooming. I hope the instructions are still clear....
