Sheet Metal Forming/Shearing Process:
Blanking- it is one of the Sheet Metal Shearing Process in which a set of punch and die is used to cut a blank (useful part) from a sheet metal stock.
Piercing- it is a sheet metal shearing process in Which a set of punch and die is used to create a hole in sheet metal stock, the cut out material is known as scrap.
Punching- it is similar to piercing operation, the only difference is that here multiple shape holes are created in the sheet metal stock.
