I did some thinking about the Balatro solitaire, and I conjecture that the maximum possible score is 375. - The sum of all cards is 4*(2+3+...+13+14) = 416. - There are a total of 13 cards that cannot score (2 left over from playing 10 5-card hands; 4 High Card duds; 3 Pair duds; 2 Three of a Kind duds; 1 Two Pair dud; 1 Four of a Kind dud). - The lowest possible leave from 13 non-scoring cards is all 2-4s and a 5, totaling 41. - This leaves 416-41 = 375 points to score. This leaves some interesting logistics for grouping the remaining hands. - You must use 2 3 4 5 as junk for your High Card. This also means you can't use Ace as the high card, or else you make a Straight. - Your 4 of a Kind can't be anything above an 8 or else you lock out the possibility of both a Straight Flush and Royal Flush. (10 or above deletes Royal Flush entirely; 9 forces a Straight Flush of at most 8 7 6 5 4, which uses a 4 that shouldn't score.)
