@@locust7777 "totally" is a little bit of an exaggeration, while Johan Ericson plays in both, I agree that don't deal with the same topics at all, and Draconian has more of a Gothic vibe too.

Over the past few years I have reached a point in my life where I can relate to this album better than any album I have ever heard, due to an increasing disillusionment with humanity, and feeling alienated from most people I come across. All of it makes me feel like I don’t belong in this world. I can especially relate to the last song on the album.

Puedo decir con mucho orgullo que Draconian se convirtió en mi última banda favorita desde que escuche Hope, literalmente aprendí a tocar la guitarra y cantar las canciones de Sovran. Ya sabía de Doom:VS pero aprender que el es el guitarrista principal de ellos renació mi amor al Doom metal.

One of the best bands ever! Love them, never tired from listening (same history with Saturnus, Draconian, Rotting Christ & Amon Amarth). Didn't knew that they CD's was released by Solitude prod., usually listening in flac...

I was gonna say this type of metal is not my cup of tea but...I like some of the songs in here for real. Title track is good. Im happy this guy at least is making it big now being a part of Draconian, but I wouldnt be mad if he makes a comeback with this project.

This sounds so heavy I imagine black holes worrying about getting sucked into the doomological ethervibe of this symposium of slow streaming sortedness. --- I'm about to combine the stream of this album with Panpipes of the Andes (album on youtube) into one, lol, using a program I almost completed called OctaQuad.

Copied from metal archives: Johan Ericson explained the exact meaning of the band name in an interview with with the webzine www.queenofsteel.com: "Most common question I get, haha . “Domus” is the Latin word for “ House”. You add another “O” in there DOOMUS “House of Doom". The : marks is there cause it can also mean DOOM=US, “US” meaning humanity. The writing of the U as an V is just more for it to look good. I really liked the old Blve Öyster Cvlt records growing up as well which also had this spelling on some records and I thought it looked cool."
