SOLO CAMP in Cave and Catch dinner

Found a new cave to checkout! This one seemed to be the perfect spot to fish as it had the calmest water right down from it.
All around was way too rough. You'll notice a few more caves in the drone footage. Might have to go check them out also when it's calm enough. They look incredible to explore. Also need to try this spot again, I'm sure it can produce better results next time

@@lutomson3496either way...get out or not. What gido does with filming AND fishing is alot of work. There are many people that physically cannot get out. So they have to live vicariously. Dont jump to conclusions.

Question, since you are an expert climber have you thought about training to summit Mount Everest or another 8000m mountain ! Haven't watched this yet. I live on this coast and I can't believe that Gido has even thought about getting outside. The weather has been unusually wet and windy for June. We have had some truly wild swell and sea conditions recently: 8 metres just a few minutes from where I live (around the Gap in Torndirrup National Park). Went and had a look, it was like a war zone, massive spray reaching easily to 100 foot high. AWESOME!

Gido, I keep forgetting it's winter for you. Right now where I am it was 90 degrees F today. Heat index was up into heat stroke temperatures. I did manage to get my fly line wet tonight. That was a neat video even though the weather was a big hinderence. Your pictures are always the best.

You were looking for firewood, I always take a small plastic empty mayonnaise bottle fill it half way with charcoal fluid, then fill the bottle with charcoal. Then you will have 8 dry charcoal as extra fuel. Works very well, and light weight.

From a fellow Aussie, thanks for showing us what it's like over west. It's unbelievable. Catching one of those harlequin fish is now on my bucket list. I'd be bundling up my firewood before I went down and having a rope to lower it . Easier than going back up and down mate. Keep it up legend 👍

The cliffs and caves would make an awesome home. Wall off the entrance add some windows tough enough to withstand the waves. Level the floor of the cave with some concrete and jackhammer here and there. Build a deck outside so you can fish right there and you'd never need to leave.

It would be terrifying in a big storm, you be hoping you built it strong enough. We get 10m swells at times. 5-7m pretty common. That day was 2-2.5m But yes it would be amazing if you could and the ocean wasn’t too rough
