Heading out into the ocean to camp solo on a new uninhabited mini island can be a gamble and it doesn't always go to plan... but sometimes you get lucky and score an amazing island like this... Catch and cooks and sunsets don't come much better😅🤙

@@Saduga of course, Sir, I have. I have seen the magnificence of the northern sky without a light around for literally 20 miles. I'm getting flashbacks watching him climb on the rocks lol! I took a tumble last Monday and still have my leg up on a pillow. Damn miracle I didn't break anything. My best advice to everyone is just because you do something frequently, don't get complacent with safety. What happened to me was 100% preventable if I had just been paying attention. Lesson learned and I hope to be back at it later this week.

I LOVED this video! I know you've explored other islands, but this time it was more fun because of the 'beach combing'. Finding castoff footwear was hilarious AND environmentally friendly. Seeing the evidence of the sea eagles' meals, & then actually catching sight of one was great. I like the new tent a lot. I hope it serves you well and long. :) See you for Part 2. Take care & stay safe.

I'm a hammock guy, but I like these tent, super functional. One thing I've learnt in a Dave Canterbury's book, was the four W's for help you to select the best place to set up your base camp. Wind ( how sheltered the place is) Wood ( fire wood availability) Widow Makers ( watch for any tree or branch that can potentially fall on your head) Water ( water availability for washing/drinking/cooking) This is so simple but very effective. Such a beautiful cammo pattern has that Cod, wonderful!
