Day 1 of my week long solo Adriatic Cruise as I arrive in Dubrovnik, Croatia and board the Marella Cruises cruise ship Marella Explorer 2 (my third time on this ship - so I knew I was going to enjoy it!!)

Watched your video as my sister and I was on the same cruise - spotted ourselves dancing in the background at The sail and shine party lol. Had a great cruise . We did back to back and this was our second week.

It was good wasn’t it. A week is definitely not long enough - I was a bit jealous of the people staying on for another week, but at least I have another coming up fairly soon! 😎

Yes it was my first cruise on Marella and have booked another for New Year on Voyager. It was so friendly and great entertainment

Great video Gary! 😃 If you don't mind us saying....we feel you've really upped the quality of your videos on this series! Interesting to see you've got yourself a mic too. Which brand did you opt for out of interest? Oh and by the way, regarding sitting in the wrong plane seat, as Del Boy would say "What a Plonker" haha! 😂😂

I don’t mind at all - compliment gratefully accepted - thank you so much!! I’ll let you have Plonker too - I called myself far worse 🤬🤣 The Bluetooth mics are QHOT Lavalier microphones from Amazon- they are sound cancelling, but I forgot to turn them on once and cancelled all the sound (Plonker again!!). Jury still out as they can sound a bit tinny, but it does cut out the wind noise.

Thanks for watching! Depends what you like - I’m a lager drinker and in the basic package had San Miguel, Peroni (red label), Holstein Pils, Boston Lager, Fosters on draft and a few other random ones. If you’ve upgraded to Premium they had Sol (though they gave that out when San Miguel ran out) and Heineken - there were ciders too - not sure about bitters or ales sorry. Had plenty of wine & Prosecco too!! I never went thirsty 😃 Hope you have a great time - I really enjoyed myself

am looking at going and i dont drink but i see there is an extra £160 to pay if you want better drinks now do you no if the latta coffee is free or do i need to pay that money to get latta and soft drinks ..

Ordinary tea & coffee are free in the buffet (or make it in your cabin) and soft drinks like cola on draft are included (they’ve also lots of mocktails & other non alcoholic drinks, plus Heineken Zero lager) Premium Drinks include the posh coffee at The Coffee Port - I don’t drink it, but I think you can pay as you go if you’re not on Premium (might be worth Googling a price menu to see if it’s worth it to you). You also get cans of Coke etc if you like certain brands. Premium also covers branded spirits which is why a lot of people really like it, but you wouldn’t get that value.

@@gary_travels thanks .. i do drink a lot of coffee and pop so maybe better to pay that extra . 2 people for 160 its only like 10er a day i will spend more buying it ..
