I am a big fan of Gyrfalcon and volatile rounds, there is a certain beauty in void explosions everywhere. As soon as I saw that the new exotic class item Relativism can roll Gyrfalcon, I knew that it is something to chase. And finally I managed to get one of the rolls I wanted - Spirit of Galanor and Spirit of Gyrfalcon. It performs great providing benefits of both exotics a lot! Galanor also works alright with Tether.
Prismatic Hunter is amazing, and it finally makes stasis shine as it allows combining stasis toolkit with other abilities, i.e. volatile-focused build in this case. You get transcendence very fast, and while transcendent you can chainspam shurikens and hailspike grenades, which is a great damage tool. Threaded Specter is just another tool to stay alive when necessary as it draws a lot of aggro now.
To take advantage of volatile rounds I have Le Monarque, which is a great weapon and also works against overload champions. Additionally I have kinetic pulse rifle (Blast Furnace) to deal with Barrier champions and pick up ammo from afar. Lastly I have Void Rocket Launcher with ALH (Braytech Osprey) to burst down bigger targets.

Useful tip: tap reload to release the bow and quickly hold down LMB to charge the bow for the poison!

Never tried this bow and I have gyrfalcons on my class exotic with foetracer. Might need to try this out. Looks cracked

Awesome run, took away some great tips for my hunter run. Which roll are you chasing on this new LFR? Also do you think this Gyrfalcon invis/volatile build is better on prismatic or on the original void subclass?

Thanks. I think envious + bait and switch would be something I'd like to have for this LFR. Some nice damage potential there. As for Void vs Prismatic for volatile builds, I feel like both have advantages. Void is generally better at survivability with easier on-demand access to longer invisibility, and easy devour with any weapon. Prismatic for volatile setups on the other hand has higher damage potential and a lot of extra tricks (i.e. stasis, grapple, ascension or even gunpowder gamble) that are extremely useful and fun. Not having devour can be more dangerous. Buried Bloodline sorts this out though while being a great weapon as well. I feel like it is the best weapon for prismatic volatile builds, it just was not really suitable for this GM with so many barriers and overloads. Hope this answers it

Got this up quick! Awesome video. How do you think hammer head with rampage and killing tally would fair? I don’t have the rocket launcher.

I actually wanted to take Hammerhead but opted for a void rocket launcher instead to burst down overloads and wyverns in the boss room. I think Hammerhead would work fine but not having burst damage sometimes is tricky.

Would Spirit of renewal & Spirit of Star Eater OR spirit of Caliban& Spirit of Gryfalcon work with this build? Farming for the one you have but no luck so far.

For this build to work the way I use it, you need to have Gyrfalcon in one form or another. Spirit of Caliban and Spirit of Gyrfalcon does not sound great as you would want many melee kills to take advantage of caliban but it's just not the focus of this build. Tbh I would simply use Gyrfalcon chest piece instead before you get some better suited cloak. The good pairings for Spirit of Gyrfalcon are Spirit of Galanor, Spirit of Inmost Light and Spirit of Renewal. Spirit of Foetracer is good as well but you will need a smoke bomb instead of shuriken, I have not tried it as I don't have it.

in your opinion is this overall your best prismatic build for more endgame stuff?

It is definitely strong. Is it the best though, I do not think so. I would probably run Silence and Squall instead of Tether. That would mean finding place for Facet of Ruin fragment for better shatter damage. But I wanted to match the super with void surge and see how tether works with spirit of galanor, which was actually quite good.

Which pulse do you think will be better for damage, blast furnace with frenzy or chatterbone with kinetic tremors? I have both and i know blast furnace also rolls with kinetic tremors, but i don't have that roll.

I have a blast furnace with kinetic tremors and frenzy it's better imk the range on bone isn't that great

I think Blast Furnace with frenzy + tremors is the best for pure damage and general use. And as mentioned above, the range is much better

Yes sure it can work really well. You will need to run a magnetic grenade and/or smoke bomb though. I really like mixing in stasis instead especially for content with so many overload champions

Bro this gm is soooo long ! Especially solo … everything is okay until the boss fight … I duod it with a friend earlier … completed in 30 mins … I just started playing last year so this gm was new to me. Def up there with battlegrounds

Cheers! I quite like this nightfall. It can take a bit longer and there is a metric ton of champions in the boss room, but it is very mechanical. And this I enjoy the most when you can plan the whole fight ahead of time with all the spawns being tied to certain actions.

We did in 30 mins duo which is solid imo being it’s our first time running this gm … I used to play destiny 1 back in the day but quit gaming for 10 years lol … glad I’m back tho . I have a question, do you prefer using Blast furnace more than Chattering bone, I mean do you find better Blast this season?

I like having shoot to loot on primary weapon in GMs. Especially here it helps to pickup ammo that is there in the open and would be too dangerous to pick up otherwise. Chattering Bone is also great though!

"Sure Shot" is the golden gun one that I always use, it's one of the fastest ones (if not the fastest). The other one I had slotted was a new one from this season - The Final Slice, I just forgot to remove it.

I'm not sure on that one. With synthos you most likely be using combination blow, and that means you will get your dodge back automatically, which in turn will refund your melee. So Inmost Light seems to be wasted. However if you focus on grapple melees then it can work with some different melee ability instead of combination blow

Gyrfalcon grants volatile rounds to all void weapons when you leave invisibility, and I have Spirit of Gyrfalcon on my exotic cloak. The idea is I get invis after each defeat of debuffed enemies and get into a loop of invis-volatile.
