The lava eruptions were some of the coolest footage I’ve seen from all of your videos and I think I’ve watched them all lol. I’m a 46 year old husband and father of 4 that (for now) lives vicariously through these wonderful videos you take the time to create. I really appreciate all the hard work you put into these awesome videos. First got into hiking while living in Colorado for some years but now living in southwest Florida...let’s just say there’s not much for hiking 14ers in these parts lol. I just started following you on Twitch too so I look forward to catching your content there as well. The kids and I love Minecraft and Stardew Valley so we are up for some gaming amytime! Keep doing what you’re doing Kraig it leaves an indelibly positive mark on many people such as myself bud.

I know a lot of people are saying they like the voice overs, and I do as well. However, there is also something amazing about your silent hiking videos. I like what you did with Mardi Hamal how you had both the silent hiking video and the info video.

Just finished this hike a couple of days ago. The views of the volcano was absolutely spectacular. Such a unique experience. Would recommend it to anyone but that climb up the volcano was killer.

So I've only subscribed about two weeks ago, binged pretty much all your videos, and to now come across a new video for the first time, it feels really nice to be able to experience your video for the first time together with so many other people. For half a minute after the talking section started it was like 'is the rest gonna be like this', but then shots came back and lots of useful information without giving out too much of a trail for those who'd do it themselves later; or at least so I came to believe as with mountain weather every day lighting tends to change and the view is next to never identical. Thumbs up for the life update! Cheers to that Shots look extra deep and dawn one's flattering of a dynamic range of a small sensor, they obviously stepped up miles since I used one! And yet again - lava pops are crown jewels to this one, just splendid!

I was in Guatemala in 2018 but didn't start hiking, or even walking much till about 2 weeks ago... as I started planning a trip to Choquequirao, which is how I found your videos. I leave for Peru in exactly 60 days and plan to backpack there for a month, including 6-8 days up in the ruins... solo. Your videos are for sure driving me to think about going back to many places I have been but never saw from this perspective. I am putting Antigua and La Solidad on my list for 2022. Awesome videos!

Not sure if you've hiked here before but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking out Banff National Park and Jasper National Park in Canada this winter! If you can manage the cold, there are some incredibly beautiful day hikes that'll take you through the Canadian Rockies. Just got back from a trip this week and I'd love to see how your footage would turn out!

Amazing video! We also did this hike and damn, you are made of something special! This was one of the toughest hikes we have ever done, but the experience and epic views from the top of Acatenango and watching Fuego erupt up close, made it all worth it...

My daughter did that same hike about three years ago. She said the eruptions from Fuego were incredibly large. On the way down they were informed that the government had closed the trail because the eruptions from Fuego were so large that they posed a danger, in particular because of the wind direction blowing poisonous gasses that way. I'm glad she didn't tell me she was hiking a volcano until after the fact. Great video - Cheers!

Amazing visuals and story telling! I recommend using CC for subtitles, so you are able to later add other languages and the writing does not interfere with your beautiful shots.
