*1) Why no talking?* I didn't have time to talk on the first day...where I camped was a makeshift plan C for the day so it was a long one. With the original plan and backup plan going down the drain, all I could do was chill out in that spot so there wasn't much to say. But I've been wanting to record uninterrupted footage of a hot tent trip that I could do a "How To" hot tent video so I used this trip as a chance to get that footage. The "How to Winter Camp in a Hot Tent" video will be coming soon with voiceover *2) Why so short?* I would rather make long videos that give you long enough to get into them. But the footage dictates the pace and duration. My plans went down the drain and nothing happened...Not gonna drag this out for an hour

This helped my 4 year old fall asleep. She said she likes your sweater and your food "even if it's a little burnt, I'm sure he won't mind"

In winter, talking breaks the absolute silence of the forest. Seems appropriate to allow the silence to reign.

i was actually distracted by the quality of the editing. It was magical. I picture you behind a computer cutting for hours. I guess that's because I have tried my hand a little at this. The video quality is impressive. The editing is mastery. Poetry is cutting everything down to just enough for the watcher to fill in the blanks with their own personal experiences with wilderness. Your winter hot tent camp has become so refined, the word that describes it is comfortable, I'm not saying it doesn't require work to set up and maintain but you look very snug and relaxed. Your "how to" video will be a master class on this style of winter camp. Really nicely done. The absence of dialouge is definitely a less is more effect in this video.

Early into the video, your camera positioned in the tent appeared to catch Sasquatch looking in through the window (or an Orc). Take care out there young elf, there are unseen dangers in those forests... I really enjoyed this, although your ethical and often educational meanderings were what got me hooked on the best channel on YT this was inspirational in a different way.
