Good opportunity with a day off work to get out in the kayak for a quick overnighter. Got absolutely smashed by bugs and felt pretty crook for the first half of the day but still didn't stop me having a great time.

Genuinly enjoyed watching this video mate. What a beautiful place to camp. Though looks like you were on struggle street that first day. Enjoyed the drone footage as well.

Thanks mate, I really appreciate it!!! Yeah the body was feeling all sorts of ordinary, very happy I stuck it out though, drone footage captured the place perfectly 🤙🏻

hey man cool vid . some great shots from your drone . that yak is pretty heavy at 29 kg what's its cruising speed . you know when conditions are still and normal . no wind or tide . just cruising along not going to hard . how many ks do you reckin it sits on ?

Thanks mate, appreciate it!! I don't find it too slow, good cruising for slow moving water. I didn't really pace this trip because I wasn't feeling too crash hot but my everglades trip, I averaged between 5-6km/hr the whole way home. I also have pretty long levers so I don't have to put in too much effort to keep a good pace. Hope that helps 👍🏻

Thanks mate, really appreciate it!!! Pumicestone passage up on the Bribie Island side, I think the campsite was Mission Point. If you ever go, definitely recommend a tonne of bug spray and a good bug net

Really enjoyed this video! Thanks for the info. Been looking for more kayak camping spots besides the Noosa Everglades. I could also recommend Peel Island. Take heaps of bug spray too!
