After leaving the cottage I decided to do a solo camp out at Arrowhead Provincial Park just North of Huntsville, Ontario in Canada. We start off in Huntsville to get some supplies and upload the latest video. Once we were all done, we headed to Arrowhead to register and get to our site. I wanted to do a hike to the waterfalls before cooking up a one pound Ribeye and mushrooms for dinner. The next day I make some coffee, do another big hike around the lake then head back into Huntsville to get Eggs Benedict at Wimpy's Diner for brunch.

You have a fire pit and end up cooking it in a pan over gas? Would hae been so much better cooked over wood fire and sear it on the pan after with the butter/garlic.

You can wash your mushrooms in water if you’re going to cook them right away. Chef Jacques Pepin said so, and that’s good enough for me.

Favorite campground so far. Davis Mountains State Park, Fort Davis Texas. Favorite steak: Wagyu cross Ribeye or New York Strip. Favorite coffee, French Vanilla. Never had eggs Benny, but I will have to try them now. Never wash mushrooms, just brush them off. Always bring a thermometer! I love camping alone, no one there to tell you what to eat , or when, no one there to tell you what to do or when! Love the videos Ken, keep up the good work!!!

Great video as always Ken but you aren’t supposed to wash your mushrooms. They soak up water and then are hard to get a good sear on them. Use either a mushroom brush or a damp paper towel and wipe the dirt off.

I love you videos Ken, however when cooking a steak don't poke holes in it as you are letting all the juices run out, and please don't put your cooked meat back on your cutting board that had raw meat on it, at least just flip your board over. Pretty sure the judges on chopped wouldn't even eat it if they saw you do that.

Top tip for you Ken don't ever wash mushrooms, they are like sponges, and if you just cut the bottom part of the stam, you can eat the rest of it, saves you money and brings you more food
