Solo motorcycle ride, stopped by a policeman then onto Four Corners and on to The Corner in Winslow

Part 4 of my solo cross country ride on my Triumph Tiger 900 GT. Riding my motorcycle solo through cute small towns in Colorado. I was stopped by a police man. Onto Four Corners Monument, through the desert to The Corner in Winslow, Arizona.

My Triumph rally pro speedometer is off by 10%. I installed a GPS & it shows speed zones & goes red when I'm over the limit. Have fun riding.

Thanks. Yes, mine is the same. My BMW was off as well, my old bike. They would both show I am going roughly 5 miles over. I have tested it with the speed on my Garmin, which also goes red when speeding. And tested it when riding with a Harley rider, whose speedometer was correct. I comment on this in my video when I bought my tiger. Something really annoying I think.

Thanks. Ya, Winslow had a cute downtown by "the corner." It was a windy ride there, not so bad afterward. But may have been because the sun was setting, so it had cooled off.

Just rode back yesterday through Cortez, down to I40 and west home to Phoenix. Western New Mexico has horribly maintained roads.

Interesting, thanks. The roads were good on my route, lucky I guess. There were a few signs for blowing sand. So guessing that is a huge problem and wouldn't be fun to ride in.

The hypocrisy of getting stopped doing 35 in a 25, when most people are doing 80-90 on most highways, where virtually no one gets pulled over

Lol. I was speeding, but not on purpose. I am pretty careful with my speed. The guy was nice and let me off. He did ask where my husband was. One of those times 7 things go through your head at once, I was nice and said, " In a different state."

That town only has a 25 mph speed limit so they can stop tourist traveling through town on that route. It’s a money making speed trap that preys on innocent tourists! It’s freaking ridiculous!

Innocent tourists like me who was busy looking around at the cute buildings, lol. Ya, a lot of small towns have a super low speed for a few blocks in the middle. Makes sense if they are busy with people jay walking but not so much otherwise.

Lol, like a movie. This guy was nice and polite he let me go with a warning, so all good. But ge sid ask where my husband was. That was a first and pretty funny. Unfortunately my video battery ran out before that.
