Well now I feel especially inferior this morning.

I just love to think of what's going through Oryx's head during this whole fight. Here's a literal God who killed one of his own Gods, laid waste to countless civilizations, and can directly tap into the manifestation of all evil in the universe. And then here comes a tiny little Warlock who just won't stay dead no matter how many times he's put down, can demolish his forces while fighting him, and goes about killing him as well. To top it off, the last thing the infamous Taken King sees as he slowly fades away is the little fuck who did it all dancing like a jackass on his throne like it was no big deal.

This is the most impressive thing I've ever seen in gaming.

And here I am barley able to solo Nightfalls

hah! here's a suggestion, bring a full fireteam, get them to that point, then have them die, while leaving just yourself alive, then have them watch as you beat Oryx Solo right before their eyes.

Today, I casually wrecked one dreg solo - does that count, too?

Crap dude, this is literally one of the greatest things I've seen in gaming. The consistency you showed to keep your cool under pressure (even at moments close to death) was incredible. G-flipping-G

Just think how much harder this would've been without that fantastically rolled 1000 yard stare. It's no coincidence that Tfue used the same triple tap 1000 yard stare in his oryx solo.

Yeah I feel ya there. I was guessing you meant it was insanely hard because of the light level you guys were at back then along with the perk changes before the patches and the biggest reason being not know how to control the vessel at the time. Plus it only gives you a limited time to figured out how to even possible do it before getting wiped. I've been trying to use sleeper simulant but since bungie needed it I doesn't stagger Oryx anymore so I actually need people to finish the last part so that I can continue the quest for touch of malice for future soloing.

I knew this would be only a matter of time before a Warlock was able to self res after grouping the bombs and group detonating them, kudos for being first to think outside the box and beat Bungie's raid developers at their own game. You managed to survive after countless jumps while being whaled on and still managed to complete the jump to the highest pillar somehow, congrats on completing, and glad to see a normal leveled guardian do it so that others will attempt it down the line. Thumbs up!
