Like #302!!! Gotcha 9 min after dropping the video today!! Outstanding AF!! I've been wondering about this topic! You made me LOL when you mentioned that you had a "Whopping 5ft to pull thru the loop at the end of the ridge line".... I saw David Canterbury's video last week with his new ridge line knot system and wondered if you'd have a reply... didn't take long to get an answer!!! Lol Thanks as always!!!

The elastic cordage is to make small loops to hook it to the ridgeline and when staking down. Loop to loop connection to a Prusik knot or make a Prusik knot out of the elastic cord connected to the loop on the net with a toggle. This way if there is any movement on the netting, the netting will not rip. The elastic cordage will stretch at the same time keep the net tight on the ridgeline and tight where it is staked. The elastic cord was not meant to be used as a ridgeline. It is just cordage to cut as loops. If you make toggles with a hole in them, you can permanently put them on a loop. Then use that loop for a Prusik knot and the toggle is already there to hang and tighten the net. Just a different way to skin the cat.

I love those skeeter (mosquito) net tent set ups. I pack it in my camping gear as a mosquito cloud shelter. We get clouds of skeeters here in S W Florida year round. Trust me there is nothing more crazy making! I just learned that by burning left over coffee grounds the skeeters will leave you alone. I have not tried this yet, but plan to on my next barbeque. Those Asiatic Tiger Skeeters ( the short, fast, black and white striped ones that grow up in salt marshes) will attack in clouds and 100% Deet will not stop them! I pack a harvested, dried citronella grass knot to throw in the fire which helps at the camp site. Protect your dog when encountering these!

Hey CPL Here’s a meal recommendation. Spicy Kimchi Ramen, crushed cashews, and add the water to the noodle bowl/cup and let soak with seasoning. If your mic is only recording audio heard in one side of the speakers it's likely that one of it's channels is dead. If it were recording in mono you would just hear the same thing output through both left and right of a stereo signal. Love the videos, thanks! c/o a live sound tech who's been deaf in one ear since a skull fracture sliced his right auditory nerve in the sixth grade.
