500 Subscriber Special Thanks guys!! I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did filming it. In this video I've hiked to the top of King Mtn., northern section of the Uwharrie Trail and setup the tarp tent configuration of the DD Hammocks 3X3 Tarp. I built a Dakota Firepit and cooked supper and breakfast on it.
Please excuse my editing errors, I'm learning a new to me editing program, I'll get better, give me some time please.

Great video, and I like your shirt by the way. Those are my kind of burgers except I like to sprinkle some Carolina Reaper pepper powder on mine. I can't detect any heat from Pepper Jack cheese anymore. I still use it cause I like the flavor, but I have to bring thee heat up to my liking. Squatch never comes begging for any of my burgers that way. Hehe!!!

Just subscribed. Great channel sir. Love how you had bacon and coffee before you went to bed and coffee and bacon when you woke up 😄. I'm guessing you might be ex military...

I do love caffeine, and protein 👍My military career was over before it started when my recruiter said I'd never be a fighter pilot (bad eyesight) Since, I've spent a lot of time training with military guys and studying the training materials though, it's helped me be a better prepper, and protector of my home and community.

I enjoyed every part of your video! Too many camping/bushcraft videos are going "no talk", which is ok, but it's getting old. Your cooking grate is an excellent idea, does it give you problems in your pack (sharp edges), or do you have a wrap/bag your using? My style of camping is very much like this. . .simple gear. Just subscribed. Best, Bill

I really appreciate that!! It does work great and is sharp but I keep it in the very back of my pack with a towel over it. Expanded metal is great, I have since started using a more compact one in my new pack. Thanks for the sub!!
