2 жыл бұрынYou asked I deliver! 100 Subscribers is a milestone for me, so I decided to celebrate by catering to a request that started appearing in the comments for a few of the games I've presented here, on my channel. The requests were for solo playthrough videos - and since the 100th subscriber commented on the video for this game - here we are! My first solo game on this channel - for you guys - is of Dinosaur Island Rawr'n Write. Hope you enjoy it - I managed to nab quite an impressive score too ;P

Nice play through :) You did the same thing I did: labelling your T. rex with a T instead of an R :) Thanks for reminding me you can connect to a gate with a building or a road :)

I had an old microphone setup on this one still... since December I shifted to a Rode mic which improved the audio significantly :-)

Thanks. A lot of luck involved in getting useful dice, but orherwise this game is down to good spatial planning and some planning ahead :)

A little late to the party, but I'm about to play my first game and love this play-through to study the rules, so thank you! But why at 23:02, did you place the 2 coin die on the 2 coin spot and not the 2x duplicator? That would have gotten you 4 coins and allowed you to finish the building! Or was that not allowed because of some rule I am missing?

Nah... no rule. Just me missing a very good move :D thanks for spotting this one. I could have obviously done that! Glad you find the video helpful :) Enjoy the game!

I have a question, if the ai place die on the duplicate action space, I also received 1x resources or not?

Hey. That is a reasonable question. According to the rulebook, the AI only places the dice to occupy spaces so it does not trigger the duplicate action and this is how I have always interpreted it. You would, however receive threat from the AI's die if you place your die on top. And if you are playing with the additional stacking rule, the AI dice can limit your options even further. :) hope this helps.
