fun seeing a rogue in optimal play (fast enough to poke with short sword with a barb and not get traded) but this is just a big reminder that rogues were never an issue and the real issue is just how big of an impact gear makes

I dare call you out as either a straight up liar or a massive embellisher of actual events. There are some kitted rogues but unless you are running around naked i've never been one shot or one shotted anyone as a rogue. Maybe two shot but never one. Rogues are garbage unless kitted, if this makes them OP then so is every other class. @@danielsonik

I’m new to the game but I’m very certain rogue is becoming my favorite class, but everyone keeps saying they got hard nerds..should I swap to a different class or maybe change up how I play rogue? I can’t find any “after nerf guides” anywhere.. I see shortsword might be good

If I am rocking good gear I usually run weakpoint, if I have bad gear on I go for rupture.

tbh with the huge amout of gold you get from high tier chests now, rogue with lockpick perk can get filthy rich in a matter of a few runs. then you can even out your nerfed perks and damage with imba gear. and imo thats okay. way better than naked rogues just kill you in 2 secs cause their perks and skills were op af, id rather get killed by a stacked rogue :D

Imo rogue isn't broken in the slightest the problem is the Community begging for over nerfs to make the classes that are easier more fun while ruining the game for those that want to challenge themselves by playing the harder classes ex. wiz, rogue, warlock, bard and dare I say ranger lol, I feel like these waves of nerfs are going to further old players from steam wanting to come back, because at this rate all the classes are going to feel dull. Just imo

ITS NOT OP lol, its less strong than the others clases, you just went with good kit and had luck with the surprise attacks(and good quitting but with 45 agi its easy xd), rn all the other clases are on a better position than rogue

It's stupid easy to get gear this patch, blues for 50g each. And the only reason people risk bringing gear is to be strong compared to other peeps

@@Fabut But to obtain 50g, you must first extract. I had the same issue, New people are just a big fun slaughter fest for the sweaty full blue/purple people. The PVE for beginners is already tough enough. There's no winning here. If this game dies, its because of the matchmaking system putting newbies with experienced full geared people. Issue with a game like this, you can't fix it, people with gear want to be better then people with no gear. which makes total sense. So there's no way to actually matchmake this. Unless you somehow track kill death ratio, perhaps a star system like in hunt showdown. but this will just be abused to drop your MMR to the newbie zones again so some guy can have a big peepee moment for himself. I've basically struggled my way through learning the game, win most my equally geared PVP fights. but always got my ass smacked by some guy holding W and left mouse button steaming through me like its nothing. Dont even get me started on being 1 tapped by rangers with acces to gold. This guy is just slaughtering through heaps of people. in between these people might be newer people that just bought their first "more expensive" kit. Just to be shit on by a guy that has more gold. and obviously more skill.
