This video just got into my feed and It is informative. and I also wanted to share. Like you mentioned about being purely exploring solo. For me I always start solo as it gives me freedom, however, most of the time I love to meet and team up with different travelers, and learn about their cultures.. But as you mentioned solo means solo...., I met such a traveler, So I learned that I must always ask whether they are comfortable, If I join them, and if not it's totally cool. But not always I end up with people. Most of the time I am on my own, and at that time I learn about myself. Regarding Cash, I absolutely agree to keep it in multiple bags. With me it happened, I left/ or someone stole some amount. Late-night incidents can occur with anyone, I had some minor incidents on previous journeys so now I become nervous if it is night and either it is better to be with other travelers or yes as you said be back by 10. And Medicines are a Must, In the video you mentioned about 1st world countries so I believe there is no issue with water, But Water is one of the most crucial things. As Once I became ill because of bad water. But I have to follow your tips regarding contacts, as I never know if something happens.
