Hii, nice to see you here & welcome to my channel :). I make weekly video's about lifestyle, travel, storytimes, tips & more. In this video I'm in Seoul for the first time on my solo trip! I flew directly from Harbin to Seoul because it's really close to each other, I arrived in less than 2 hours on the plane.
The main reason why I'm here is because I'm finally doing a procedure that I've been waiting for my whole life: the popular double eyelid procedure. I haven't shared this before on my channel, but like I'm saying in the video, my eyelids have been bothering me for my whole life. I have one monolid and one thin double eyelid. It's uneven and I feel constant weight on my lashes and eyes, which makes it really hard for me to keep my eyes open without eyelid tape. So now the moment is finally here: I'm getting double eyelids for the first time in my life!
The recovery went pretty well, the swelling was not that bad and there was no pain at all. It was just swollen en bruised, so it's probably looking worse than it actually is. Walking helps a lot with reducing the swelling so it was perfect for me to explore Seoul after the procedure. I was in Myeong-dong, and it was so crowded! I also explored the streets of Gangnam a bit, as my stay is close to it.
Lastly, we can't forget about the Olive Young stores here, I'm in heaven! I had to visit each store I passed by to check all of their products.
I was a bit nervous to go on my first real solo trip, but I feel so good to be alone in Seoul. It's giving to much freedom and I'm not feeling lonely at all. I feel really at peace and happy to do anything I want. I think that's the freedom I love the most.
