As someone who got their BA and MA in English literature, I've just recently and suddenly stopped reading...like in the past two and a half year (maybe the pandemic changed me???). Seeing you read out of your comfort zone kind of encouraged me to start reading again. Hope you're doing well xx 💕

Reading Sweet Thursday by John Steinbeck, highly recommend! Also, props for reading out of your comfort zone, it does feel like real work to read something you normally wouldn’t. Try ceremonia Pequi curl activator. I air dry my hair and it works like a charm for wavy/straight hair

For a good book series rec, I've been reading and loving Olivia Wildenstein's The Lost Clan series, the first being "Rose Petal Graves". Historical based fantasy; 10/10 recommend.

i just read "a little life" which is a long book but i downed it in like 4 days & it was absolutely the most beautiful piece of writing i've ever read, but insanely heartbreaking (so i'd look up the TWs- if you're interested), but now i'm reading "on earth we're briefly gorgeous" which is also turning out to be so good! also just finished "the people we keep" & "the midnight library" which were both phenomenal :)

if you’re looking for good books, ‘The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society’ is an amazing one. Such a feel-good book, with lovely characters. I totally recommend that one. There are so many copies on “Thriftbooks” too, if you want to check that out! also, didn’t mean to dislike the video lol. that was an accident. hope you have a great week!

Great relaxing vlog, as always! Just a note though, the genre of ASOIAF is not sci-fi (science fiction), it’s high fantasy. Glad you’re enjoying the series so far :)
