Solo Virgin Voyages Cruise Excursion | Virgin Gorda & The Baths! (Part 2)

Welcome to part 2 of my Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady excursion to Virgin Gorda & The Baths! On our port stop in Tortola, I booked an excursion through the cruise line that turned out to be absolutely AMAZING. I had so much to share I split this almost 40-minute long episode into two parts so you can watch at your leisure.
In part 1, I take a ferry from Tortola to Leverick Bay, a gorgeous resort area on the island of Virgin Gorda and spend a lovely hour or so lounging on a terrace with a beautiful backdrop of clear blue water and a delicious buffet spread - all included!
In part 2, I take you with me through the infamous "Baths" at Virgin Gorda, to the most beautiful beach I've ever been in the Caribbean (yes, it's true!). The water and sand is perfection, no cloudy murkiness or seaweed, just beautiful clear blue water with cute and shiny fishies swimming around. The Baths was an incredible experience, and something I would absolutely do again in the future.

I was watching you traverse the rocks and thought how if it were me, I'd be thinking "okay, this is interesting, but I'd like to be relaxing on the beach, so, enough rock walking". You were positive in the video, but I sensed you were feeling that. 😎 As for your surprise sunburn, I learned early on to try not to carry any bags over my shoulder (which rubs off the sunscreen), and even to try not to lean back on a chair (for the same reason). You are right, though...a second person along to help apply sunblock is helpful. Love your vids. 😊

Amazing series I am planning on taking this cruise and will use lots of your advice! Question: how did you get so much sailor loot and bar tab? How does that all work?

Thank you! The reason I had so much was in part due to promotions at the time I booked, as well as using a “my next Virgin voyages” credit that I had bought on a previous cruise. I also got some additional because my original booking had to be changed due to a charter sailing that moved my dates and then the delayed launch of their 4th ship.

Great vlog. I'd love to do this tour when back on VV but im not physically able to climb or swim through the bsths. Can I stay with the tour bus to get to the beach on the other side to join the others?

Yes! There is an easier path down to the first beach and if you wanted to stay up at the top at the main restaurant area you could do that too!

Virgin charged $150 for this excursion. No motion sickness, those patches really work well! 😊

virgin voyages has solo rooms?

Yes, they do! They have a few different categories specifically for solo cruisers, but you can also book any cabin type as a solo (just expect to pay a bit more for the supplement).
