Nice job! I see you read the comments from the last video! Your rod was at the correct angle and you kept the rods close by. Nothing better than cooking at the old fishing hole. Get rid of thst teflon pan and get a good old cast iron one like a griswald. They are the best and they hold the heat like you can't believe. Keep up the great video's and great job on not being afraid to show your love for God!

Great day Samong! A "pro tip", I use a surgical hemostat to remove hooks that have been swallowed. Great episode!
@Antler_addict
@Antler_addict 5 ай бұрын
It blows my mind that nobody uses those red hook removers except for me. I have custom modified ones with a smaller bulb that removes size 14 treble hooks with zero effort & every time without harming the fish at all! Hemostats usually still damage the fish & is a pain to remove hooks. Buy a $1.00 red eagle claw hook remover, wrap the line twice, keep tension on the line & plunge! It works better than anything else!
@xplicitfishin

@@Antler_addict Thats a great point, I remember getting one of those cheap beginner fishing kits years ago and the hook disgorger worked wonders. For small stocker trout like these, they're probably gonna die anyways though if they get deep hooked so really, hemostats, hook disgorgers, or just cutting the fish open and cutting the hook out of their gullet all work wonders hahaha.

Just recently found your channel and I really like it. I love the fact that you openly share your faith in Christ as well. Something to help with getting the residual water out of the kayak, you can use a sponge to soak it up and get it out. May take a little bit to get it done, but definitely works. Looking forward to the future videos.

For your safety Samoung.. Your next purchase for cold weather kayaking.. a drysuit. Using the "120 degree rule".. Air + water temp equals less than 120.. wear a drysuit. The only exception is if you are on the Puget Sound or in the main body of the Columbia.

Thank you for your efforts to share high-quality and decent videos. Consider keeping a sponge in your kayak (or truck) to get that last bit of water out. Inexpensive, easily replaced if lost, and it should only take a couple of minutes to clean those last bits of water out. Happy trails!

Medium light is on the heavy side for trout 😅I use ultralight or light for bait fishing because light has a bend when catching a fish but medium light barely has a bend and that’s probably why your bell didn’t go off when you had a bite. But I mean that’s why I would use an alarm on my mine and loosen my drag. But everyone has a preference. Love your videos man 👍 no obnoxious music just pure nature loving and dangling 🎣

Don't wear waders in a kayak. If you go in the water, they fill up and make it very difficult to get back in the kayak. Even worse, possibly pull you under. Frogg Toggs makes a very lightweight pair of waterproof pants that roll up smaller than a can of soda, and keep your legs dry. Keep stuff you need in the space in front of you, not behind you. Install rod holders on that cross bar in front of you. That way you can watch your rod tips while you row/troll without turning around. Use downrigger clip on weights with 1/4-1/2 oz cannonball weights to hold your lure at the depth you want for trolling.
@UpNorthOutWest
@UpNorthOutWest 5 ай бұрын
thats actually kind of a myth. a few videos debunking that, split milt has one here on youtube. waders, wading belt, rain jacket over the waders and a pdf and you'll hardly get any water inside.
