Many foreigners loved the Philippines..not only with its beauty but also the Filipino traits and culture..Generous..hospitable friendly and respectful to the older people, family oriented and most of all we are happy people..isnt it obvious..why we are always accepting refugees.because we are just humble people..

Actually when we see a foreigner and gets a chance to interact, one might find it very amusing that we are too hospitable and friendly. it is as if we are meeting for the first time a brother separated from birth. lol we feel a spark of compassion.

Recently they found ancient bones in Callao cave if I'm not mistaken the name of the cave, dated 50 to 60 thousand years old. Their is peacock in Mindanao I remember our neighbour had a 3 peacock. In Mt. Diwalwal before they mine the area. One of the native there says that there's an abundance of gold in that area and you can see it beside the river or in the river and the miners also found a giant skull and rumors that after they touch it they got possessed by an evil spirit. So sad because the beauty of that mountain lost and the native itself says that they regret it, to let the miners mine there native ancestral land..

Im from visayas region.. My dad is a local seaman, he used to work(2009-2017) for a local cargo that loads something like soil im not sure, from a mine in surigao, he said it is then sent to japan to be made as steel.

Yes I remember this also I was born in 1992 grow up in Cebu ..Yet our Island is known to be the queen City of south these days and during my childhood time I used to play this with my sisters.I also heard about the Queen ship that had so much gold in it my grandparents tells a story a bout it they call it" bulawang Barko" This ship shown up during night time its passed over from the mountain rivers of north all the way to my town ni Talisay City which is the boundry between Northern and Southerners Cebu. THE RIVER is actually connected to the Ocean ....so old people back then thinks that the ship was from the mountains following through the river stream on its way to the ocean!..The ship they describe it so full of light and people screaming like they are having party and staff My old grandparents used to tell us this story to keep us away from the Riverside.

TGC I remember way back when mt. Pinatubo errupted the sand from the volcano rain to us and I see some glitters in the sand and my cousin tells me it is diamond which is melted by the lava and I was puzzled and amaze how a volcano have diamond inside of it.

I was in manila when it happened. I wondered why the white grayish glittering ashes that were blown to manila scratched the windshield of the car and on the skin and nose it felt sharp and pointy. It was also itchy on tge skin. It was painful in the lung.

I remembered before in Leyte province me and my uncle dig a well, the time we reach more than 4 meters depth my uncle found debris of a blue porcelain mugs then I remembered that time they said it's true the Bible is telling us about the flood, he said maybe before this depth was a human settlement and yet covered by floods and soil now. Speaking of mining, the Visayan regions and Luzon, particularly in Benguet, have lost many lives in mining. If I remember it right, I once heard that Baguio City will sink one day because there are already lots of holes in its ground because of mining. The Loakan Airport in Baguio has also tunnels below it. It's frightening.

this is true living in a part of mindanao south cotabato there is a lots of mining gold and resources and only the land of promise (mindanao) are the only place in Philippines that not civilize.. because the land are guarded of two indigenous people muslim and t'boli who fight the land from the enemy (the Philippines government and the tourist) who trying to destroy the land of promise the land of peace.

In Ilocos, we have the Bannatiran bird which was believed to have a very long tail and the feathers were multi-colored. Sadly, they’ve gone extinct and the only thing that survives about this beautiful bird is an ilocano song called “Bannatiran”..

Professors West and Brown have compiled in their book called Philippine Resins, Gums, and Essential Oils in 1920. You can read its pages from archive.org or buy the book from Amazon.com. The information is so massive about the forest resources of the Philippine Islands! I can only remember the "sahing" that I personally used then (in the 80s) to treat my mom's back pain due to ashtma. It has a very lemony sweet scent-- far better than minty "salonpas". 😄

Hi Tim! can you make a special video about the "Leap Year? Coz something is not right does the Leap year affected by the Flood during the time of Noah, the battle Joshua againts the 5 kings, and extending the Life of Hezekiah? When God originally designed the universe He put the stars and planets in place so that man could understand time, seasons, days and years. The relationship between the sun and the moon defined the months. God's calendar originally had 30 days in each and every month? The bible says there were 150 days between the start of the flood on the 17th of the 2nd month until the 17th of the 7th month. If there's only 150 days that would be precisely 30 days per month. What happened to the other 3 days? In 712 B.C. Hezekiah was king of Judah and fell ill. The prophet Isaiah was sent to his bedside to tell him to set his affairs in order because he was not going to recover. Hezekiah wept and prayed to the Lord and reminded him how he had served Him in sincerity and truth. Since he became king, Hezekiah had spent his time tearing down the high places, groves, altars and idols to the false gods in the land. He had indeed served God. God heard his prayer and through Isaiah told him that he would - 1. heal him 2. he would appear in the temple on the third day 3. He would add 15 years to his life, and 4. He would deliver Jerusalem out of the hand of the king of Assyria. After being granted all that, he had the nerve to ask for a sign! And the Lord granted it! Now here's where we get back to the calendar and how keeping track of time became more complicated. Here we see that God gave Hezekiah the choice of 10 degrees forward or backwards but not how many degrees. Why did God choose how many degrees and not let Hezekiah choose? Because it could have affected God's sanctified holy Sabbath. If God had let Hezekiah choose the number of degrees, we as men like to see spectacular and fantastic miracles. And as such Hezekiah might have chosen 30 or 40 degrees! What would that have done to the calendar? If a change was made, which caused more than 1 days loss in any month, we would lose the last Sabbath of that month, as the last Sabbath is the 29th day of the month on the Hebrew calendar. As it stands now, only the 30th day, is lost in some months. If we had lost two days instead of one, then we would lose both the 30th day, and the 29th day Sabbath, thereby destroying the 7 day weekly cycle, which God instituted in Genesis 2:3. Could it happen again? Isaiah gives an account of this same event but adds the word, "again" to the sentence. (Isa 38:6-8) And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city. (7) And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken; (8) Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down. Lastly the calendars being used in our world are man made and by the pope himself. The new world order already has the new calendar made to put into use when the time is ready for it. Not good. Before the Gregorian calendar was Julius' calendar of 8 day weeks which were in the time of Christ, but Christ observed the true calendar which the Jews used until the destruction of Jerusalem.

my grandpa mentioned to me when i was still a child that there were skeletons of giants, and added that maybe the last of it's kind whose also a strong one, help the spaniards stabilize columns of the church of the early days of colonization in municipality of Dapa in Siargao Island, Surigao del norte. There are peacocks too found in Mindanao. In one vlog at the crocodile farm in Davao, there was a short focus on caged peacocks around half a dozen. I think I saw it in the Making it Happen vlog to which two Austrian couple are presently in Davao right now so the video is only a day or so old. They should follow the Jurong Bird Park in Singapore and let those peacocks roam free in a protected and fenced sanctuary.
