I don’t know what’s wrong with mine. I was typing my essay while it was charged fully and it just shut down. I tried charging it but the charging light won’t come on and the on button isn’t turning on when I press it. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

So just wanted to say Thank you! Watching your post help correct my issue with my Envy product. I had a standing white power light and know screen. I held down the window & B keys simultaneously for about 30 seconds and the power light went out. Following I recycle the power button and the screen came right back up. Awesomeness !!!

Tried your solurion and got no response from my hp. Played with the start button again, then maybe 1, 2 minutes later, it came on and did the Bios update, then a firmware update, then finally booted up. I noticed a Windows 11 update was pending last time I let it go to sleep. Thanks for the fix.

there is another reason the envy doesnt turn on and it is a manufacturing error, the plastic around the power switch is to tight. you end up having to route out plastic via pressure from a jewlers screw driver. then the power switch can release from the switch on the actual mini pcb

Hi Estevan, I don't know how you figured this out but my HP ENVY x360 was completely dead. I mean it wouldn't even charge never mind power up. I kept trying to push the power button with the charger plugged in and nothing. Then I came across your video and I tried what you explained and I couldn't believe it, the orange charge light finally came on. Then I did your trick again pressing the Windows Key and B button at the same time and then pressing the power button and it did exactly what you said. It went through the entire BIOS rebooting process and bingo my laptop is working again. Like I said I don't know how you figured this one out but I wanted to take a minute to say thank you very much cause I was almost at the point of tossing this laptop or taking it to a repair shop, which I'm guessing wouldn't have been to successful and if it was I most probably would have received some ridiculous quote to repair it. Anyway thanks again brother for posting this video, it sure helped me out. PS. I watched your video again and let the ads run through in their entirety to make sure you get that extra KZfaq revenue. I just bought the new HP Envy X360,2 in 1 core i7, 16GB ram, 512 gb SSD, and it’s not opening. I ordered it online from HP website brand new and it’s not opening. When I try to charge it, the orange light comes on then goes off. I pressed the power button so many times and hold the power button long enough but it’s still not responding. You may get stuck if you don’t have a Microsoft account with the computer added to it, so if you don’t have an account with Microsoft with the computer in the account try going to live message support.
