The very first ques answer. Volume is the space occupied by any matter. Gas has tendency to occupy whole space where it is kept while solid and liquid can occupy definite space

Fire is a plasma, not a gas or a solid. It's a kind of transient state between being composed of the elements prior to ignition and the spent fumes (Smoke - solid particles and Gasses = Gas molecules.)

24:15 The particles in a solid cannot move away from or come closer to each other so they are not free to slip over one another. Hence a solid can retain its shape. Liquids occupy a fixed volume but no fixed shape. This is because the particles in the liquid state are not packed closely and also arranged disorderly. Due to the weak internuclear force of attraction, the gaseous particles have enough kinetic energy and they can move in any direction without any restrictions.
