Put a mini switch in parallel to 1N4007 so that if you want more heat switch it on & vise versa. It also helps your soldering iron to last longer, nice presentation.👍👍👍

It won't solve overheating. It will just take more time. Only one real "fix" is to go with temperature controlled iron.

It will, as every iron's resistance increases with temperature, and the dissipated power rises. And you are effectively halving the voltage, making the iron enter the inrush/dissipated power equilibrium faster. Though normal people also add a diode bypass switch ;)

Типичная проблема китайских паяльников. Виной всему желание экономии. Начинку делают для 110 вольт, чтобы работало в США, Канаде и Мексике. Далее в зависимости от заказа припаивают провод с той или иной розеткой. По факту во всех странах кроме стран сев Америки данные паяльники будут перегреваться. В популярных "синих" паяльников с переменным резистором для регулировки температуры можно смело сделать так же. Конкретно на данном паяльнике лучше реализовать схему регулировки на основе симистора, тогда можно будет регулировать его нагрев.

кто не понял паяльник перегревался ,он поставил диод , тем самым отрезается половина синусоиды , получается что паяльник теперь потребляет и нагревает в 2 раза меньше

No you don’t. You can use same exact iron!! While you have the board out and you are at stage where you need to solder wires together, grab the main assembly with the tip, and literally just blowtorch it up to temperature, test temp by sort of day “pretinning” but as a temp reader(you’ll get the gist of you try this method, very easy) then boom bam baboomba you used a single iron to fix itself!! Oh and no this will not destroy the heating element just keep torch on the tip or just a tad further down only need like 15-20 seconds of contact then you will be good to get a connection done by time it cools down. Then repeat for 2nd pair of wires

I use the diode on a microswitch. When the iron is between uses hang it on the microswitch as a bitsaver, When lifted off you get full power. If lower power is needed hang something else on the microswitch.

la frecuencia de la tencion alterna de la red electrica es de 50hz o de 60hz segun que pais. al poner el diodo en una de sus fases el efecto es que se reduce a la mitad la frecuencia.. a la de 50hz pasa a 25hz.. a la de 60hz pasa a 30hz. disminuyendo la temperatura del cautin..

RS had a two temp (30w/15w) soldering iron. It used this method. When switched to "low" (15w) it had a diode to clip half the waveform off. Just like this. I still have one that still works.

Lo que pasa es que el cautín del video no es regulable, por lo tanto va a calentar hasta alcanzar su máxima temperatura que por lo general está dada por la potencia que tenga, lo que hace el diodo es dejar pasar solo un ciclo de la corriente alterna, haciendo que el cautín trabaje "a media marcha" alcanzando menor temperatura y alargando la vida útil. Si su problema es de sobrecalentamiento puede funcionar, sino toca buscar cual es el daño, saludos :)

@@miguelangelenamoradobaron5968 gracias por su opinión, ya lo reparé con el diodo, pero para hacerlo debes desoldar y reubicar los cables de tensión, que están conectados a la placa o sea eliminarla, le pones un Diodo y un push bottom y con este le subes la temperatura al pulsarlo y en reposo trabaja a media onda....y lo he usado bastante y trabaja perfectamente....

@@MujahidKhan-yr4dq u will need a big ass 100w rheostat and that would be bigger than the soldering iron lol. just use a fkn fan regulator if u want to vary power (that doesn't adjust temperature cus u need a temperature feedback and something to increase or decrease power like a real soldering station.)

Use a series board with a 100 W filament bulb.... overheating problem will be solved,tip will not become black and the element will last for long time.....for greater safety you may use a fan regulator in the board.

Продолжение: то есть при включении холодного устройства происходит бросок тока, приводящий к выходу из строя. Поэтому различные токоограничивающие схемы желательно всегда применять при включении. Когда мне надо было поднять температуру жала паяльника, я поднимал напряжение, с помощью автотрансформатора, до 250 вольт - паяльник не сгорел.

У провода из нихрома, который используется в различных нагрева нагревательных устройствах, сопротивление в холодном состоянии гораздо ниже, чем в разогретом. Соответственно и ток холодного провода выше, чем разогретого, то есть при включении происходит бросок тока выше допустимого, приводящий к перегоранию провода. При дальнейшем разогревании провода ток снижается до рабочего. Соответственно различные токоограничивающие схемы желательно всегда применять при включении. Паяльника, например, и будет он у вас жить долго. Когда мне понадобилось повысить температуру жала паяльника, я поднимал напряжение до 250 вольт - паяльник не сгорел.

This technique in some states can be illegal, while some other states can charge you the same electricity bill for impedance mismatch as much as when you didn't install the diode.
