They do it because it’s usually easier and more precise to turn the side with their right hand and turning the top with your left finger is quite easy

You regrip at the beginning of the alg. The nice thing about this e perm is that you get AUF on the U face and not the F face

It will most definitely not work unless you have oriented the last edges and with all yellows on top and edges are directly opposite each other. It's one of the pll methods . It works when you see the aforementioned condition

@@All_right786so basically after you have solved the first 2 layers u use oll which brings all the yellows at the top as u see in the vid then u use 2 steps of pll which solves the corners in one part and edges in the other. This is one of the steps of pll

Hey, you must be doing the standard algorithm wrong, if you haven't switched, try to do like a Lw type rotation where your left hand goes to the top color, then you're in perfect grip for it (standard alg)

This does seem pretty fast. I personally use "x' (L' U L) D' (L' U' L) D (L' U' L) D' (L' U L) D". The cube rotation is weird to get used to but I think it is also very fast.

When I look at the toturial on ytb, I position the yellow center at the top, and the green center facing me. but I found a difference, where my red center was on the right side, and the orange center was on the left side. A ' in front of a letter denotes clockwise or anticlockwise. R would be a clockwise turn of the right layer while R' would be an anticlockwise turn of the same layer.
