thank you so much for all your help. my oldest son looked up info about how to get our internet on. ive only had metro pcs service for 3 days and we still didnt have data connection service. so the second day we went to the store but it was about not being able to make or receive calls since a day of having the phone at that time. we couldnt make or recieve calls. then they finally realize it was the wrong imei number. why couldnt metro pcs figure this out on the phone. so i had to pay the people at the store 15.00 to get our phone working. unbelievable that metro pcs on the phone cant do shit right. then they couldnt fix our internet today. but thanks to your video within seconds my oldest son was able to fix our new metro pcs plan. i was beginning to give up and discontinue service next month. now our internet and wi fi hot spot is working thank you so much. you are awesome for that :-)

I just got the galaxy s5 because my 3 did not work anymore. Since the 3 was 3g,I had to switch to 4g. The 4g would not stay on. I've had this phone for a week and now it works after watching this video . Very helpful. Thank you

thank you so much my friend, I can't believe that you did better than a metro pcs technician, I was on the phone with a metro technician for almost one hour and I did not get the ( 4g) service, he missed 2 steps of what you did and finally he told me to look for a word( MetroPCS easy mode wi fi) on settings) and that if I don't find it call back to metro...... so this is what I'm going to do, when I get the phone call for the survey I'm going to mention that, thanks again for sharing your auknologies, I know it is a lot of people out there looking for this, you are a life saver.

After hours of searching for an answer online and even watching other youtube videos and calling my service provider Metro PCS and even taking a trip to the store I got no solution. Thank u. I haven't had working data for months. I didn't worry about it becuz I always have my phone connected to my home WiFi Tonight my apt building lost power for 30 mins. I was trying to go online with PG&E to see why it happened? My data didn't work. I tried the airplane mode thing but it work. When the power came back on I looked on KZfaq for help. Ur video was the first to see. I paid attention to what u said. I have a free phone service with assurance wireless but it's connected to T-mobile. There wasn't any option to select T-mobile. So I typed in T-mobile and hit select. I looked up and saw 4GLT My data is back working thanks to u. And I for not giving up. I really appreciate ur video.

I just want to say thank you so much for this! I have metro pcs and just upgraded my phone. It's an LG G2 that was from at&t. I was able to call and text but I had no mobile data. Good questions and the answer is not really. NO. APN is associated with different carriers and each one has different ones. Example: AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Cricket, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, and etc...etc.

Thanks for posting this video! I did a factory reset on my MotoX that I'm using with Metro PCS and needed to manually add the APN for MetroPCS (Default in phone is for T-Mobile). What is FRUSTRATING is I called MetroPCS Customer Service TWICE and received the same information TWICE and they had given me the wrong APN! They gave me "fast.t-mobile.com", but what worked is "fast.metroPCS.com" as shown in your video. They had also given me an MMSC of "mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc" which I left saved in the APN profile. Also, great job editing the video, in particular not making us wait watch while they data entry is done for each field, but just showing us the before and after. Great Job!

All solutions i found on youtube applied and still had the same prblm. And I was almost hopeless. But just from curisity i did something and the problm solved. I just changed my sim card with a new one. And replace the old phone no: on new sim card by calling to castomer care. Its easy and solved. You can try it, its my own experiment, alhamdulillah.

well i can't delete the APN, because my phone is an Android LG 7. but not to worry though, because i can just hit "Reset to Default", and it worked! thanks bro
