A vector space structure over a ring R is called R-module.
Every ring R is an R-module over itself. If U is ideal of R, then U is an R-module.
Every abelian group is a module over the ring of integers, unital R-module, submodules, proper submodules, improper submodules, simple submodules, irreducible submodules, Arbitrary intersection of submodules of a module is again a submodule, sum of submodules of a R-module is gain a submodule, Quotient module. The R-module homomorphism becomes a linear transformation (LT) of vectors spaces if R is field.
