I love this kind of cardtricks! At each moment there is something happening, it fits all nicely together and the audience has no clue.

I had to pause the video right after the end of the explanation of your handling to say that was one of the most well-designed and thought-thru? handlings with the best subtle justifications that don't give away the methods, I've seen in a while! Awesome trick! We're watching mastery at its best ppl! ✌️❤️

For the past few months, my 2 go to card tricks I do for family and friends are 1. Chicago Opener and 2. The invisible Card. Love them both!!!! And they have no clue how the card got face up back into the middle of the deck !!! And adding the EC at the end-- NICE!!!-- I'm going to try it that way thanks!!!!

Absolutely fantastic trick that I use often! I like the Biddle trick a lot. Very versatile. I'll play around with your version when we are moved. Meeting the realtor tomorrow to put the house on the market. Thanks for sharing and the history lesson :) 👍🤓👍

God I love a fellow magic nerd. "I had to dig really deep to find this one - it was actually really fun" Gah! Fine! I'll subscribe! Sheesh. 😂 (I had already subscribed, I'm just saying...I love how research can actually be fun to people like us. And that fun is infectious)

First of all. Your channel is really great. It's informative and well done. This trick is one of the first trick I learned when I started magic in my late teens. And now about 15 years later it's still one of my go to tricks. I perform it a little bit differently. I but I must say i think this way brings more mystery to it. I will definitely try this one out.

Super! I love your handling. I was doing this trick with four cards. After moving the selected card to deck, I used the Emsley count to count 3 as 4 and then concluded the effect in a similar fashion.

Sorry for the late comment Sean! I just finished another semester at college, now I can watch all of your videos I couldn't watch yet. The Biddle Trick is a great trick and one of my go-to tricks. I always perform the original handling, but I love your handling as well! I can't wait to practice your handling then perform it! Congratulations on 4K! Now onto 5K! #Roadto5K!

@@SeanDevineThank you for sharing your awesome handling Sean! I'm going to use this version in Paul Harris' Deep Clear. Dave Loosley came up with a substitute handling that is way better than how they teach in the tutorial....But I just love your Handling 💯.....Thank you, I just love and learn so much from your channel 🤝

Great video as always Sean :) .... My favorite version of a trick using the biddle move/steal is the escape of the three muskateers by Cy Endfield :) - that takes the biddle move to another level :D

Great video!!! as every time. And what I like so much is a litle history lesson,because my first language is not English, and as far as literature about card magic is concerned, everything is in English, so it is sometimes difficult for me to find things that you share in videos with us. #TNX #HappyPracticing

Check out John Gustafero’s Biddleless Effect in his book One Degree. I performed it at a walk around gig and it killed.

Hi Sean, I always watch your videos. I always learn a lot from them, practically and theoretically. I never usually ask for anything. but this time I wanted to ask you a favor if it is possible to teach us some way to force a group of cards, for example 5 cards. I have seen all your frozajes videos (very good) but I would be very grateful if you could show us some card group forces. thank you very much, keep it up

Thanks for all background details you mention. Do you know who introduced the shuffle/control where you put pressure both on the top and bottom card so they both end up at the bottom (original top card is covered by the face of the bottom card)? You use it in this video as well. And whats the name?
@harryhowdidhe2 жыл бұрын
@@boghanisthinking Thanks, also found it in The Royal Road to Card Magic. There its named Overhand top and bottom control. At the Magiccafeforum you will find both.

Hi Sean, have a question if you could help me with…on “The Bittle Trick” where it comes to dividing the deck into equal halves with magicians choice, what phrase would you suggest using ? Thanks for any help you may provide ,

I took the idea of the BT BC teaches on Inside Magic DVD which I own & added a Criss Angel element to it where after I count 5 cards & theyve seen there card I take all 5 cards & throw them hard at the closed card box which contains there selection & as the cards fall one by one to the cold floor below I turn them over one at a time remarking I only have 4 cards revealing them all to not be theres then have them open the box & spread to reveal the ultimate mind fuck😎🃏

How is the biddle move different from the elmsley count?
@SeanDevine2 жыл бұрын
Great question! The biddle count shows four cards as five, and the elmsley count shows four cards as four while hiding one. In a future video, I'm going to be going over all of the different counts!
@justcameforthecomments2 жыл бұрын
@@SeanDevine Thanks, pal, looking forward to your future content :)
@hanzelnuts84462 жыл бұрын
With the Elmsley count, you're trying to hide the 3rd card, which is usually face up.

VERY poor tutorial!!! You blather on about some pointless history for about 10 minutes; then you go on to infer that "we all know the Biddle move" (we all don't!). Next you carry out an extremely arrogant tutorial -- and it finally gets 'done'. You have done such a poor job here, that I will have look for a tutorial on this trick elsewhere. I think I'll unsubscribe too.

Yeah man, history is pointless.
