The sum of their age will be 52. Just add 5 to both of their age 18+5 = 23, 24+5 = 29. 23 + 29 = 52

Yung problem #2 is may Mali po . Dapat ung total of their age is 52 . Nina's age is 23 and Karen's age is 29 So 23+29=52 .

the question is "how old are both of them?" meaning po their current age na lito tayu sa 5 years if you add 5 sa current age nila the sum of their age is 52 after 5 years po.

Parang hnd ko na intindihan sabi kasi yung sum is 52,tapos yung final aswer mo 42 lang kasi 24 + 18 equals 42 lang,ok na gets ko na kaylangan ko lang mag adds ng 5 both of them ages😂

Hi po. May napansin po ako. Sa first problem Sabi "thrice as old" so 3x po ang equivalent. Sa 2nd problem is "6 yrs older" so x+6 po ang equivalent. Di po ba same meaning ng # as old at # older? Ano po hint kung kailan gagamit ng x+2 at 2x just like the two different problems. Sana masagot po

Mathematical sentence po thrice means times 3 of the number which give us 3x, while 6 years older means sum, it doesn't mention twice or 2 times more older than x, it only states 6 year older so the given should be x+6.

Hindi po. Kasi sa tanong, 5 years from now. Ibig sabihin, makalipas ang 5 taon,meaning, nagdagdag ka ng 5 taon sa mga edad nila.

Kulang sir yung explanation nila, 18 + 24 =42,lang hindi mo nMn sinabi 18 +5=24 / 24+5=29, then add both 29+24= 52 yan ang final answer. Tama po ba ako or mali 😂😂😂
