For no. 6 X²+5x+6=0 (X+3) (x+2) since the two factors of 6 are 3 and 2 in which if you sum up this two the answer would be positive 5. X+3=0 x+2=0 X=-3 x-2(these are the roots of the equation) .. Cause if you transpose positive 3 and positive 2 of course the answer would be negative.

Sir, the answer in #4 is correct but I doubt with your computation, as far as I remember we cannot just disregard that 3 in the equation. Its better to show that 3x² - 75 is equal to (3x - 15)(x + 5) = 0. In this factor we can show the proper computation.

6. X^2 + 5X +6 = 0 6 could be like 3(2) where if we add we can get the sum of 5. (X+3) (X+2) = 0 x+3=0 | x+2=0 x= -3 | x= -2

Please why did you not use the 3 when solving problem three?

Am finding solving quadratic equations quite complicated & confusing. Need more explanation specially on why there's factoring of x & y when there's no variable y in the equation. Also, what happened to the 3 in one equation. Lastly, why & what is the reason behind doing all these? Hope you can help in a way to clear things out. Thanks!
