We have a different dna from others, East Africans are cushitic and hermitic we have been living in the horn for thousand of years. In punt land people have discovered evidence of civilization from Miljon years ago. The land of punt was very successful described by ancient Egyptians. You should look up the land of punt. People even go as far to say pharaoh was Somali… people have been only seen Somalia for what it is for the last 40 years but we have very rich history dating back to thousand years ago. During the midevil times when the ajuuran empire was at his height 1300-1700, Mogadishu was the center of world trade. That’s how coffe was brought to the world through Somali merchant importing it from Ethiopia and exporting it from the port of berbera to the world. Even the Ming dynasty sent diplomats to travel all the way to Somali from china to establish trade. The first bejing new year was celebrated together with Somalis most know said of Mogadishu who traveled to china in the 1500 hundreds bringing them giraffes and other exotic animals. He was the first African man to step foot in china. This is just a little history from us. It’s ironic how they call us pirates now but back in the midevil times they described us as sea masters.

Fun fact: This place had the world's largest salt factory in the 1930s. Made by the Italians, it was called "Saline Companies and Industries of Northern Somalia Migiurtina." It's being revived now by Udug Limited Company, with some help from the US.

I have been watching you for the last weeks and l just wanna welcome you and your friends. Being here in Somalia sends positive message to the world and the value of our people and it's land. I just wanna thank you guys again and again, you showed the world our beautiful land and beaches. Somalia has the longest coastline in Africa including red sea and Indian Ocean, and at the same time the state of Puntland has the longest coastline in Somalia, too. Puntland has beautiful mountains, beaches and climate that could attract the international tourists and we can be one of the best tourist destinations in the world.

The salt mine was a front by the Italian who were looting treasures of gold coins and artefacts left over from the ancient trading empires. A plane flew from Hafun to Rome once a month for more than a decade pre ww2. The local salt miners were not allowed to go to the areas that these treasures were located. Most of it went to the vatican or was smelted into gold for the Italian gold reserves. Although there are clearly large deposit of salt this didn't justify the amount of attention and investment given to Hafun when the rest of the North east was left almost completely untouched by the italians, apart from a lighthouse here and there.

Absolutely No disrespect to the wonderful people of Ethiopia 🇪🇹and more importantly, A major shoutout & love to OUR Western Somali brothers & sisters in the illegal occupied lands of Greater Somalia. I’m going to do my best to keep it 100% HALAL from the river to the sea. Truth be told, every time I see the entire East African coast line. All the way from southern Somalia to Punt land to Somaliland and to Djibouti. @@EngYounis The world have seen their ships being captured and crews being held hostage. I am not saying it are these people he visit doing that but many of them held the crews hostage in this area. Many also understand that Chinese fishermen come with large ships and steal your fish in the ocean. That are not fair to you. But when we see our ships and sailors taken hostage and even being killed it does not make us want to come. I salute Gus for going there to visit, but he have security with him and I would never dare to do same. Lets hope the world can leave all religion behind us and truly develop in peace together. Have religion not caused enough death and suffering in the world already?
