My niece is a nurse in an emergency room. I had a panel of several different cartoon-like nurses on it. Some were funny ones. She loved her quilt!

Thanks for the appreciation and recognition of Nurses Day, I am a retired RN, spent most of my career in Critical Care. All of those Millie’s Dresses are so pretty, many of them I can imagine as real dresses “back in the day”.

Good Morning Pat! Love all your fabrics and the buttons are so cute, will check those out! It was fun seeing the dresses parade - all of them are very cute too! Everyone is so creative with their dress choices. Great video this morning. My dresses quilt is all pinned and ready to quilt today. I did a piano key border using all the fabrics from the dresses instead of the one in the pattern and I made a pieced backing using various tones of gray fabric scraps and orphan blocks I had in my stash. Not sure what color I’m using for binding, but I am going to “face” it instead of the traditional way. The piano key is my most outer border as I made mine a little narrower too. Can’t wait to see it all finished. It was a very fun project! Have a great MONDAY everyone!!

I ordered and received one of your notebooks. I have tried using a journal for my projects but my resolve always peters out😂. So started using the notebook. All my UFOs are listed and under each what still needs to be done to complete. So far it is working great. As I finish a step, I cross it off. Will put a date beside each section when that UFO is finished. Simple works best for me. On another note, your finished quilts are amazing!! Love the dresses but I promised myself nothing new until at least some of my UFOs are completed.

You’re so generous with all the quilts you give away! I’ll be lucky to finish the 4 quilts I started for my kids about 20 years ago! I have finished 2 of them and I almost have the top done for the 3rd! I also chose the fabric and pattern for the 4th! Yea, me! But I’ve also done other projects. I’ve made quilted Christmas tree skirts for all of my kids and one granddaughter. I’m getting there! I’ve learned so much by watching your videos! Thank you!

i've given you a view of mine several times, try putting in studio at my youtube channel. there is a sliding door here, and 1/2 of one wall has the opening to the kitchen, and one wall has a fireplace. you would not have those things

Pigmy pens work great. Made for fabric and are permanent. JoAnns and Michaels sells them. They come in different tip thicknesses and colors.
