So we've touched on a lot about Black Ops 6 thus far, covering mostly MP, I might have a zombies breakdown of everything as a recap sometime in the future here if you are interested in it, but the one thing that has been notably absent for Black Ops 6's year of support thus far is Warzone. While that's not necessarily surprising, the earliest we've seen Warzone details for the upcoming year in recent times has been at COD NEXT where they reveal the new map and the new gameplay features. However, the mention of Warzone in the reveal direct and even the omittance from the mention of what's coming at NEXT, it's been awkwardly quiet on that front. While the details of Warzone are no doubt being withheld to generate more buzz for the game later on in the summer at some point and given that whatever happens with Warzone and the integrations do not happen until later in the year beyond launch anyway it's understandable why it's not the first thing shown off, it's still odd to see marketing almost ignoring it in a capacity compared to the last few years, so... What's happening? That's where the first reports paint some perhaps bad news for Black Ops 6, depending on who you ask. Warzone or any battle royale game killed multiplayer and it has made gaming not enjoyable anymore. I do not wanna hear “skill issue” or “get good” I hardly take the cod community seriously. I think Blametruth and Eight Thoughts are a bunch of crybaby’s. What ever happens to me for saying this I don’t care.

I miss when COD wasn’t so focused on Warzone! In a way it killed the core of COD because it takes the focus away off of the core game modes COD was built on. I wish Warzone was its own separate thing that a different developer focused on building year round while letting the main developer focus on the core modes of COD! When you have 3-4 main modes to try to make content for weekly and monthly, that’s kinda tough.

@@speedycrust3958 yes. Raven Software has been the lead dev on Warzone for years so Warzone existing takes no time away from the standard multiplayer and they have only in recent years developed cold war’s campaign aside from being the lead Warzone dev.

Cold war is the second game to come out after warzone was introduced so saying that really doesn't help anything since we have only had 5 games total so far since warzone. Also they used to release more content for multiplayer now they divide it with warzone. I agree it should be it's own game it would also allow for the game to be able to have its own movement system

Warzone is meh but the only reason Verdansk is so loved is because it’s all nostalgia. The map sucked in hindsight and was campy as hell. If they wanna wow people then they should bring back the Blackout map.

If they're in fact changing some things in Verdansk, please don't bring the asinine interior designs into the structures or buildings. The buildings within Urzikstan are absolutely atrocious. 12345 twists and turns, doors, stairs with more twists, turns, with doors, more doors, doors and some more twists piled into more twists onto more stairs and doors. Its the worst iteration of interior design we've ever had. Verdansk had simplistic building design and Caldera did as well. Please bring back those simple buildings. It made for much better gameplay.

that tactical map is shown in the game footage where on the reveal trailer there is a rocket flying after somebody called in a hellstorm missile. it cuts to a missile in the air like a cruise missile n it shows that area. you can tell its that area because of the bridges in the same places and a lighthouse to the left side of the screen

Maybe because a lot of players have recently been disappointed in past cods and that bo6 is the new thing, warzone will just be reskins to fit bo6 (i assume) and they most likely aren’t finished with a lot of warzone things possibly.

Thank God they're changing the date to warzone! I fuckin hate warzone so boring and slow. This will make black ops 6 multiplayer have more people than wz or can permanently stay that way depending on how good multiplayer is in black ops 6.

Change whatever they want with Verdansk, but PLEASE KEEP Nokatomi Plaza!!! That was my favorite location in the whole map!! I love Die Hard, and im praying it's still there. It was introduced during Cold Wars' year of support, so maybe for BO6 Treyarch will keep it in.

Live service as a feature killed COD. The rushed development cycle mixed with the predatory cosmetic monetary system made the franchise unbearable. There are other aspects too that sabotaged the franchise, but nothing other than Activision's greed played a larger role in ranking this once great behemoth. I personally feel like COD is just some weird copycat that steals ideas from other games, and shamelessly pulls in other franchises for the sake of staying relevant with kids these days.
