Two great musical theatre songs about romantic love - with differing points of view. The first is from Rodgers and Hammerstein's 1949 musical "South Pacific." The second is from the 2005 Broadway musical "The Light in the Piazza" with music and lyrics by Adam Guettel, grandson of Richard Rodgers!
These songs are part of Jennifer Sheehan's critically acclaimed show "You Made Me Love You - Celebrating 100 Years of the Great American Songbook." This performance took place at the renowned Café Carlyle in New York, with Musical Director James Followell on piano and Bill Ellison on bass.
