That is only my thought. But i think it would nicely correspond with Tevyat begin destroyed during war with Heavenly principles, therefore making Ei leaving the tevyat as she was one of few survivors

The rule is the loser gets executed, juts how the Shogun executed La Signora after she lost the duel against the Traveler. He doesn't hate her, because he knows she had to kill him since he wasn't the victor.
