Superb review . that is why we are waiting for you to review this bike as we know you are the best person for the Himalayan and we can trust on thoughts.

Considering RE is offering a "Rally" version in the coming days, I'd hope they offer adjustable suspension and rear shock as accesories.
@ONTWOWHEELSBEN8 ай бұрын
dont think so. the suspension is quiet well sprung for a weight range of 70-160 kgs .

To Ben: Ben, you are one hell of a machine! All those tweaks done on you suits perfectly well and applicable. You are one of a kind from all the Himalayas all over the world. 450 is just your younger brother. Do not get jealous, you are good enough.

Ben, the exaggeration on switchgear design is just to the bring that exact vintage feel. As I've been telling, coming from the old Himalayan myself, the current bike is lightyears ahead in terms of quality, fit, finish. Enjoy your new motorcycle.

Exactly, if does what he has done with Ben then the 450 would go to heights even RE can't imagine.

Loved your analysis ben. I was looking forward to it. Thanks !! Can you speak about it's flickability vis a vis it's weight in Indian traffic conditions whenever you get a chance ? Thanks

Thanks for a detailed review, bike looks spot-on. But I like slow speed engine and plushey suspension 😂.. coz Hips don't lie.

Similar to Pavlin from "Motorcycle Adventures" who had the old Tenere 660 and had done quite a few mods and Yamaha addressed all of them in the new T7.

Do all the variants have excel aluminium rims or just the Hanle Black one?

As far as I know the 520 pitch is a very common spec on Indian bikes like the 650 twins (which also have a DID chain, I think) and the KTM 390 models. I am not surprised that this bike gets Excel rims as the 650s have them too. I checked out the bike and the switchgear quality seems fine to me. The rotary switches are a good aesthetic choice and the quality looks adequate. The only issue is with the joystick which lacks tactile feedback.
