Wow the bullet looks good! So where is the project now since its been a bit, any advancements? I missed this and most vids this summer, no internet... in the back country / wild woods somewhere in the Western Rockies haha

so did you braze on a piece of drill rod or high speed steel to another piece of drill rod? Im thinking about making a bullet mold myself and kicking around a few ideas on how to do it

No this is just the shank of a standard twist drill. It had a titanium nitride gold coating. That might be what's throwing you off
