I admire and support Siwon for much more than his talent, wealth and good looks. He has worked hard for many years to highlight the needs of children living in poverty and doing what he can to ensure they have a brighter future. Ignore the haters, mate, because we need more people like you in the world!

Siwon has had his own struggles, people are often fast to judge him as a guy coasting through life with just good looks and his parent's money, they overlook how hardworking, caring, kind and compassionate he actually is. And I am glad that SJ members put it out there in their own way.

Siwon is for me literally the "don't judge book by it's cover" in the opposite way, like when I got into Suju i lowkey thought that he's that typical jock guy full of himself, but I'm glad that I was wrong. Siwon is a very important particle of Super Junior, He's not just a visual but also all of members' protector, guardian and supporter. Truly a man who respects everyone equally and treats everyone with kindness

Also - Siwon doesn't need sasaengs to dig dirt on him, Suju will gladly do it instead XD, even though they can't ever find anything on him, so he still remains his pure adorable self

I think if his parents had to choose between a Korean woman or a foreign woman who loves the Lord with all her heart and has relationship with the Lord, I think they would rather go for the second choice, if they could get both great, but if he does end up with a foreigner I bet they would be happy knowing she loves the Lord and that's what would really matter to them cause serving and loving God is their main value then "race." plus they love their son and would want him to be happy and he even said his parents will trust him on whoever he falls in love with and Siwon would want a Godly wife above all. never say never, cause God loves to surprise people Siwon, including you.

I think also if she were half-foreigner and loved the Lord, his parents could accept that too. Thanks to shows like “The Return of Superman,” more half-Korean children have been gaining more limelight and are slowly being accepted by the public.

I think the reason why he can't marry a foreigner since he's the first born in his family. As far as i know there's a law in South Korea that first born (if it's a man) cannot marry a foreigner since they need to use their Surname or retain their surname. That's why it's prohibited for first born child.

Who need to use/retain their surname? The firstborn Korean child? Then it actually didn't really matter if it was a man, isn't it, since it's usually the wife who took the husband's surname. So if, let's say, Siwon married a foreigner, then he'll still be Choi Siwon and his wife would be the one became a Choi. 🤔🤔

It's more of a tradition especially if you came from a wealthy family and it's pretty common in some Asian countries not just in Korea. And there are families who still follow that (as for the reason, I don't know)

@@clairem7847 i think even some kpop idols. Like Yeonjun, V, Namjoon? Since some of them are only child. Idk others' but we never know if they will follow it. 😂

Men and women don't change their surname in Korean tradition. And the children take the father's surname, so there wouldn't be an issue there either.

The thing that he said is shit for people like you who are not grateful and think that only material things can make people happy. He is rich but he knows that money is not everything.
