Pirate Radio Archives Take Me Back real talk! Took me years, even typed the words into google to no avail then when I lived in a shared house (well we all had our own studios but in same building. People would come and we’d bang times for hours then one guy said play some treat. I was like wtf is that shit, it got played and I hugged him with joy as I couldn’t help it and was probs pissed

Recorded this onto tape from Lush FM. I lived in Watford. Was 14ish. I had an elaborate system where I'd coiled a 20 odd metre long wire round my bedroom so I could pick up the North ondon radio stations!

First memory of this... EZ played this in The Complex live on Kiss 100 in 1998 or 99 (Rankin was the MC), Rude Boy Rupert was on the bill as well. The second time its drops on the track he immediately has Anthill Mob - Burning mixed in with it and his chopping n cutting on turntable isnt something i think many could do in this day n age... (thats when I first knew EZ was serious!)... Its unique moments like this one that never erase from your memory.....
