I get it Merphy, my husband is a sneaky man as well 😂 All the novels he's ever read is because I read them to him before bed. If I didn't do it, though he loved the shared experience with me (and my soothing voice lol), he would not pick up a book for himself. Maybe only through audiobook, and even then... 👀

Philip dragash audiobook of lord of the rings is a masterpiece. Movie soundtrack, voices like the movie for each character, ambient sounds (wind, footsteps, river close by, doors openning etc). Its amazing. Ive reread lotr 4x and the 4 times i used it. Its like watching a movie of the full book
