Thanks Tony... lots of stuff in there to unpick! Like the use of some of the diminished scale as a flourish but well away from the 'melody note'. Don't think I've ever tried that and now I want to give it a go! Thanks again.

I'm sorry I'm just discovering you now. I wish I had teachers like you when I was in college. You might be one of, if not, the best music educator I've encountered (certainly the best on KZfaq).
