of the times when people are saying they’re realistic it’s not realism at all just blind pessimism but this isn’t one of those cases, it just made no sense… I don’t know why people expected it, maybe because I don’t care all that much for rewards they’re nice and all but I just don’t like the gacha system and don’t pull as much but that’s just me so I didn’t care to invest my expectations

The only thing they told us was the 1,600 jades in the mail on the 26th, the day of the anni. That and the cosmodyssey mini game. Wouldn't be surprised if they cooked up a little something extra for the anniversary but i dont wanna get my expectations outta control

They did mention this when 2.0 went live but it was buried in the notice section. I suspect that they will unveil this on the livestream since it coincided to be on the anniversary date itself. As much as I want a 5-star selector, its best that we temper our expectations

Hate to say this to y'all.. those chats from HSR JP YT. It's more like a tradition that Japanese VA sent anniversary messages, but that's all. Also this 2:27 the rewards already been distributed. It's all about those free 1600 SJ + 10 fuels and some background picture for Hoyolab users, that's it. Had to un-hype you guys, set your expectations low. Even tho 2.2 livestream is set on Anniversary date (26 April), but 2.2 is not the anniversary patch. There's possibility that they'll give us a little surprise on livestream today, but then again, please keep your expectation low.
